Tabitha Arnett – 2019 Project Pink Model

Tabitha Arnett is the Executive Director of the Indiana Osteopathic Association.  She has lived in Central Indiana for over 30 years. She loves spending time with her husband, two stepchildren, and two dogs.

Tabitha was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2018.  She had a double mastectomy and reconstruction three days after participating in the Race for a Cure.  Being a highly energetic woman who loves her job, she went back to work only 13 days after surgery.  Tabitha also volunteers as a grant reviewer for Komen Central Indiana.

Why Tabitha Wants You To Help Komen:

“I want to encourage women to get their annual screenings and become self-advocates for their health, particularly the many women with dense breast tissue who may be at higher risk for breast cancer.  Raising funds helps women get the services they need, and it helps raise awareness in central Indiana.  Our support helps with early detection, which is key to survival.”
