Pink Tie Guy – Chris Gahl
Why I Wear Pink
My maternal grandmother passed away from breast cancer and my mom, Nancy, is a 20-year breast cancer survivor. My mom and I have walked side-by-side in nearly every Komen Central Indiana Race for the Cure over the last 20 years. I’m raising money as a Pink Tie Guy in memory of my grandmother and in honor of my mom’s strength.
Every 13 minutes, a woman in the U.S. will die of breast cancer. Komen Central Indiana works with a sense of urgency to help find the cure—and they are surrounded by some of the world’s leading oncologists. Indy is also home to the Komen Tissue Bank, the only one of its kind in the world. Susan G. Komen is critical to finding the cures. You are critical to finding the cures. Please consider making a donation to my Pink Tie Guy campaign today.
