Make an Impact
We are honored that you are making an impact in your community by hosting a fundraiser to benefit Komen Central Indiana! Your passion for the fight to end breast cancer ensures that we can continue to support life-saving health services for low-income patients living in our local communities and national research efforts. Komen Central Indiana relies on individuals, companies, and schools like you to turn breast cancer awareness into purposeful action!
Where to start:
At Komen Central Indiana, we want to help make your fundraiser a success! Depending on the scope of your impact project, choose one of the following ways to get your fundraiser off the ground:
1. Do It Yourself
DIY is a user-friendly platform that allows you to operate your fundraiser online; eliminating the need to mail cash or checks to the Komen Central Indiana office. Create a fundraising page where you can share your motivation for getting involved, set fundraising goals and monitor progress, and inspire your friends and family to contribute! Control, design, and monitor your impact projects’ success with the click of a button! To get started simply click the “Fundraise” button in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Become an Official Impact Project Fundraiser
If you’re hosting a fundraiser where the majority of donations will be cash or checks and you want to use the Komen Central Indiana logo on printed or online material, this option is for you! Since the Komen Central Indiana name and logo are registered trademarks, you must obtain written permission in order to use them in your fundraising efforts. To obtain written permission, you must meet these guidelines and contact Development Manager Carley O’Connor.
3. Rally for the Cure®
You can plan a Rally for the Cure® program for sporting events like golf and tennis, dinner events such as wine-tasting or group/club activities such as a bridge or book clubs. While this is a national program, you have the option to designate your fundraising dollars to your local affiliate, Central Indiana. That means that the money you raise will be used close to home!
